Terms of Payment

I. The Standard Billing Period for Recurring Subscriptions and/or Existing Customers

The fdh.cloud platform service is typically offered as a month-to-month subscription service without contract. All fdh.cloud subscriptions are automatically recurring unless cancelled by the customer or the service provider.

The standard billing period for fdh.cloud services is from the first day of the given month to the last day of the given month. The customer will be automatically charged on the first day of the month for all URLs agreed upon and generated for them by the system. This URL amount is calculated at the end of every billing period, on the last day of the month. Payment is to be completed by the fifth day of the billing period (i.e.: the fifth day of the month), after which it will be considered a Missed Payment.

Any payments made after the fifth day of the billing period will be applied to the following month.

II. Billing Period for New Customers and First-Month Subscriptions

New customers may subscribe at any point during the standard billing period.

1) Subscribing Before the Fifth Day of the Billing Period

If the new customer subscribes before the fifth day of the billing period (i.e.: the fifth day of the given month), their payment is applied to the current month. Should they remain subscribed to the fdh.cloud service, they will automatically be billed on the first day of the following billing period as a recurring customer.

2) Subscribing After the Fifth Day of the Billing Period

If the new customer subscribes at any point after the fifth day of the billing period, the payment is applied to the rest of the current month, as well as the whole of the month following. Should they remain subscribed to the fdh.cloud service, their next invoice will be for the billing period following that. For example, if a customer subscribes to the fdh.cloud service on January 6th, their payment covers the remainder of January, as well as the February billing period, and their next invoice would be for the March billing period.

III. Available Discounts and How they are Applied

Fdh.cloud offers substantial discounts. They are not mutually exclusive and can be layered with one another.

1) Yearly Subscriptions

The fdh.cloud service offers a discount for customers wishing to pay ahead for a year-long subscription instead of the month-to-month subscription plan typically offered. This option will place a 20% discount on every individual URL generated for the customer.

All fdh.cloud subscriptions are automatically renewed and recurring. The yearly subscription will be automatically renewed and billed to the customer if no notice otherwise is given before the end of the year-long billing period.

2) Bulk Purchase of URLs

If the customer buys 50-100 URLs in bulk, each URL is discounted to 50% of the original cost. If the customer buys 1000+ URLs in bulk, each URL is discounted to 90% of the original cost.

IV. Alteration of Subscription (Adding or Removing URLs)

If the customer wishes to add or remove URLs or hardware (beacons, QR tags, NFC tags), this can be done through the user interface. New URLs and hardware can be purchased or existing ones removed from use.

For month-to-month subscriptions, any changes to the service will be reflected in the invoice for the following billing period (the next month). No refunds will be issued for reduced service in a given billing period.

All URLs are considered individually. Meaning, if a client has a given amount of URLs for a yearly subscription and, during that year, wishes to add more URLs, these will be added on as month-to-month subscriptions and will be invoiced as such unless negotiated otherwise (e.g.: purchased for a year subscription of their own).

V. Missed Payment(s)

If payment is not received by the second day of the billing period, an automated warning will be sent to the customer. The service provider will also be notified. The customer is given a five-day grace period within which to make the payment for the current billing period. If payment is not received by the end of the fifth day of the billing period, the customer’s service will be blocked. This will continue forward, adding to the bill of the next month unless paid by the end of the current billing period. For example, if a recurring customer does not pay during the January billing period, when the system recalculates their bill on the last day of the month, it will add the debt to their next billing period, and the customer’s February invoice will be for both February and the missed January payment, so on for each month the debt is not paid. If the service is not officially cancelled by contacting the support team, the customer will still be billed for the time the service was enable, even if the customer’s access to the fdh.cloud service was blocked for any duration. The service must be cancelled before the end of the billing period (by the last day of the given month) to not be charged for the following billing period.

VI. Cancellation of Services

If a customer wishes to cancel their subscription to the fdh.cloud platform service at any time, they must either call 1-844-295-0900 or email the fdh.cloud support team at sales@frontdeskhelpers.com.

1) Month-to-Month Subscription Cancellation

For month-to-month subscriptions, if the service is cancelled prior to the end of the billing period, the customer will not be charged for the following month. If the customer cancels the service after the end of the billing period (after the last day of the month), and during the next billing period, they are required to pay for that billing period. No refunds will be issued for the current billing period if the service is cancelled within the month. No refunds will be issued for prior billing periods or months.

2) Year Subscription Cancellation

For year subscriptions, a refund can be issued for months after the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for the current billing period if the service is cancelled before the end the current month or billing period. No refunds will be issued for prior months or billing periods.
